AC – 3 Tier Reservation Fees is Rs. 25 and the supplementary charges for superfast trains is Rs. 30. Reservation Fee for journeys originating from a different station than the place of issue is Rs. 40

AC Chair Car Reservation Fees is Rs. 25 and the supplementary charges for superfast trains are Rs. 30. Reservation Fee for journeys originating from a different station than the place of issue is Rs. 40

Sleeper (Mail/Express) Reservation Fees is Rs. 20 and the supplementary charges for superfast trains are Rs. 20.

Second Sitting (Mail/Express) Reservation Fees is Rs. 15 and the supplementary charges for superfast trains are Rs. 10.

Sleeper (Ordinary) Reservation Fees is Rs. 20 and the supplementary charges for superfast trains are Nil. Reservation Fee for journeys originating from a different station than the place of issue is Rs. 30

Second Sitting (Ordinary) Reservation Fees is Rs. 15 and the supplementary charges for superfast trains are Nil. Reservation Fee for journeys originating from a different station than the place of issue is Rs. 25.

Additional reservation fee applicable in total chargeable fares in case of Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express trains are as follows:

Rajdhani Express trains: The additional charges for AC First, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, AC Chair Car is Rs. 20.

Shatabdi Express trains: The additional charges for Executive, AC Chair Car is Rs. 20.

Jan Shatabdi Express trains: The additional charges for Second class are 15 and AC Chair Car is Rs. 20.

Exemption from reservation fees payment is applicable for officers and staff of the Railway and P&T department, MPs travelling on Identity Card and Military Officers travelling on free warrants. Similarly exemption from supplementary charges is applied on Railway Staff travelling on duty passes, privilege passes and PTOs, tourist holding Indrail passes and MPs travelling on Identity Card.
